19th Young Statisticians Meeting

Dal 17.10.2014 al 19.10.2014

19th Young Statisticians Meeting

Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Croatia

This series of meetings was set up in 1996 by the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and the Technical University of Graz, Austria. In the following years Hungary, Italy and Croatia joined the group of countries participating to the initiative. The meetings are dedicated to young statisticians doing actively research in theoretical and in applied statistics and who are willing to present their work in English. On the other hand, this meeting has also the aim to improve cultural understanding and transmission of scientific knowledge among all participants. For these reasons, the program is designed to allow plenty of time for discussions, exchange of information and for making scientific contacts.

Young statisticians from each participating country are invited to give an insight into their research activities.

This year the meeting will be organized by the Unit of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public Health, Department of Cardiology, Vascular and Thoracic Sciences, University of Padova, Italy.
