Methodological Foundations and Research Workflows with Owkin's K Pro Free

This online seminar discusses how large language models (LLMs) are reshaping medical, epidemiological, and public-health research, with attention to what they can and cannot do in real scientific settings. After a concise scientific framing of LLM principles, evaluation, bias, and privacy constraints, the session will present research-oriented use cases emphasising transparent and reproducible practice. A short demonstration using Owkin’s K Pro Free platform will illustrate how a secure, web-based environment can be employed to prototype LLM-driven workflows on real-world clinical research tasks, followed by discussion and Q&A.
