Substrates Analysis and Therapy in Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathies: The role of CMR

https://www.cardiacscar.com/

The introduction in clinical Cardiology of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging has opened extraordinary opportunities both for the understanding and the treatment of a large variety of cardiac diseases.
In fact, Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging can be considered, at all the effects, a sort of Cardiac Pathology in vivo and, because of this potential, is nowadays considered essential for the management of some cardiac diseases. A unique potential of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging is represented by the capacity of identifying the myocardial substrate for arrhythmias in a large variety of diseases characterized by the presence of severe, sometimes lethal, ventricular arrhythmias.
In the symposium on "International Symposium on: "Substrates Analysis and Therapy in Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathies: The role of CMR" internationally recognized experts will discuss the potential and the clinical role of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging in those diseases that more than others have been the object of systematic research. The clinical impact of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging in these specific contexts will also be discussed.
The virtual congress will be formed by 9 symposia

2. Each symposium will be organized as a talk show.

3. Each talk show will last approximately 60 minutes of which 20 devoted to discussion

4. During each talk show a moderator (recognized expert on the scientific topic treated in the specific scientific session) will coordinate short presentations (usually 4 per session) addressed by experts located in different part of the world.

5. Each talk show will be realized thanks to a newly designed and sophisticated educational modality realized in Padua. This special modality has the following characteristics:

a. moderator and speakers will be connected at distance form their own site,

b. management of the talk show will be organized with a virtual TV studio with all the facilities typical of a TV talk show format,

c. participants will be connected to the TV studio with the possibility to address questions to speakers either via chat or directly audio-video with their presence in the virtual TV studio along with speakers.

6. Each Symposium (talk show) will be held live at 1.00 p.m. Italian time in order to allow participation of speakers and attendees in a wide range of local times [from 7.00 a.m. for a great part of Latin America and East Coast in USA, to 8.00 p.m. for far East ( Sydney, Tokyo ...).
